* Bracket Dyno is a competition where the competitor guesses his HP number before the runs. Of the three runs, the run closest to the competitors guess will be used.
* In the event of a tie, the closest two runs (bracket) or two highest (Open and Diesel Fuel only) will be averaged between tied competitors. Highest average wins. In the case, there is still a tie; the 3rd run will be averaged in. If multiple competitorsâ~Y tie after the 3rd tiebreaker, it will be determined a tie and the purse will be divided equally among tied competitors. Points will be awarded to each competitor for the position tied for.
* The dyno operator will make all dyno runs.
* The dyno operator will execute the run in any manner the competitor asks as long as itâ~Ys 1)
possible and 2) legal. (I.e. gear of choice, start rpm, etc)
* Once the dyno runs are made, no changes can be made to vehicle configuration.
* All trucks competing
in the Diesel Only class are expected to have all N2O bottles removed
from the truck. In the event a "placing" competitor is challenged
as cheating (N2O, water meth, etc), the truck will be re-run to verify
the results with and without the accused device.
Procedures
